You'd think we have a good size group in the area. I've yet to see one locally.Yesterday I saw a shale blue truck in Aston, PA heading north on Route 452.
My daughter also saw a shale blue truck in Malvern, PA also.

Pretty sure the Aston one was mine...not sure bout the Malvern one but possibly. My wife has been driving it around since I have her car in Fla. Unfortunately, she not a big fan. I tried to explain that miscellaneous bells and whistles and warning lights flashing on momentarily and turning off is part of the charm and that blind spot monitoring is for sissies![]()
I live in Alpine and have a Scottish White wagon, but that wasn’t me! For being such a remote area we do get more than our share of Grenadiers.Spotted 2 Grenadiers coming back from Big Bend today. The first was another Scottish White heading towards Terlingua as we were driving north to Alpine this morning. And then as we were coming through Bertram in the afternoon, we saw another Grenadier (I think Scottish White?) with an orange accent wrap on the hood and rear door.
I had an old dear eyeing up my Grenadier from her new Bentley ContinentalBack from a 5000 mile round trip from Colorado to Maine for some family issues. Did not see ONE single Grenadier from Colorado to Maine and back over the past month.
What we did experience is that at just about every stop along the way to refuel we got questions about our "land rover mod", "mercedes mod", etc......fun to chat with folks across the country.
BEST thing ever was that going into Dayton on the highway we were flashed from behind in noon traffic. A Purple SUV passed us slowly after following for a few minutes (we were doing 75+ at the time) and the passenger had her cel phone out either videoing things or taking pics....they got a tad bit in front then tapped their brakes so I pulled along side. The passenger kept filming and was waving...we did the same back and the driver was mouthing something like "F-ing AWESOME" and we went side by side for a few min.... Super fun! After they sped on it turns out they were in a purple Rolls Royce Cullinan!
My wife and I were both taken aback because we have never seen a RR SUV at all, not to mention that they loved our Grenadier. Super fun encounter!
