Grenadier Spotted

Queen’s Red in Scottsdale around 0930 on Friday.

I flashed the KC grille lamps. Queen’s was turning East on MacDonald off of Scottsdale rd.

I couldn’t catch up. Massachusetts plates. Alloy wheels. Queen’s Red.

6:45 this morning, Scottsdale AZ on Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. I was in Uber heading to my meeting and a inky black was cruising down FLW Blvd. Zoom in.

Another Grenadier sighting this morning in Scottsdale around 0900. Looked like a stock Sterling Silver Metallic? turning North onto N 86th Street from McDonald Dive from the East by Trinity Church. I was turning into the parking lot at Basha’s from the other direction about 100 meters away. It might have been Scottish White yet looked like silver from that distance. I probably need to see the eye doctor next.

Had I not been arriving for a Dr.’s appointment, I would have chased you down. Not a creeper.

And yet another sighting this morning at Fry’s in Phoenix around 0900.

I talked with the owner and told him about the site. He has only had his Grenadier for a month or so.

I was so stoked that I couldn’t tell the color. Inky Black or Britannia Blue. It also looked kind of green. Anyway, alloy wheels. He said that he bought his wagon as he was a local at The Grenadier pub.

My MM was on the other side of the lot. I would have given him a decal and beer mat.

I hope that he checks the site out.

Spotted 2 Grenadiers coming back from Big Bend today. The first was another Scottish White heading towards Terlingua as we were driving north to Alpine this morning. And then as we were coming through Bertram in the afternoon, we saw another Grenadier (I think Scottish White?) with an orange accent wrap on the hood and rear door.

Yesterday I saw a shale blue truck in Aston, PA heading north on Route 452.

My daughter also saw a shale blue truck in Malvern, PA also.

Pretty sure the Aston one was mine...not sure bout the Malvern one but possibly. My wife has been driving it around since I have her car in Fla. Unfortunately, she not a big fan. I tried to explain that miscellaneous bells and whistles and warning lights flashing on momentarily and turning off is part of the charm and that blind spot monitoring is for sissies 🤣

I live in Alpine and have a Scottish White wagon, but that wasn’t me! For being such a remote area we do get more than our share of Grenadiers. :)

Back from a 5000 mile round trip from Colorado to Maine for some family issues. Did not see ONE single Grenadier from Colorado to Maine and back over the past month.

What we did experience is that at just about every stop along the way to refuel we got questions about our "land rover mod", "mercedes mod", etc......fun to chat with folks across the country.

BEST thing ever was that going into Dayton on the highway we were flashed from behind in noon traffic. A Purple SUV passed us slowly after following for a few minutes (we were doing 75+ at the time) and the passenger had her cel phone out either videoing things or taking pics....they got a tad bit in front then tapped their brakes so I pulled along side. The passenger kept filming and was waving...we did the same back and the driver was mouthing something like "F-ing AWESOME" and we went side by side for a few min.... Super fun! After they sped on it turns out they were in a purple Rolls Royce Cullinan!

My wife and I were both taken aback because we have never seen a RR SUV at all, not to mention that they loved our Grenadier. Super fun encounter!

I had an old dear eyeing up my Grenadier from her new Bentley Continental

Was up at Wintergreen Resort in Nellysford, VA (not too far from Charlottesville) with my wife this weekend, cruising through the parking lot and ran into a Scottish White Grenadier parked there. Always awesome to see one anywhere, but in the mountains with the woods behind it, it really stood out. Stayed at an AirBnB while there and the host/owner came running out to ask me about our Trialmaster. It's a good feeling when you can do someone a favor by bringing them into the fold of admirers... ;-)

On holiday in Looe Corwall , Spotted a blue one parked up behind the Ships chandlery . Looks like a workhorse.
2023 plate. Didnt get to introduce it to my Grey Fieldmaster in the tourist car park .
