Fantastic write up thanks, very much appreciated. I tow similar and have the 3.8 GVM upgrade with 35mm lift and somewhat concerned about the front driveshaft issues I keep reading about - see how we go I guess. I installed a guard to stop it flogging around if it does let go but now I cannot inspect the shaft. (also need to drop the guard for oil changes - needs a larger sump plug hole to drain oil)
I'd like a taller 'rear' spring (no air bags) and understand SLRV have this - but any increase in height of the rear may worsen the angle of the front shaft from transfer case to diff (if the angle of the shaft is a contributing factor towards failure).
I've centred the rear camera, yes cutting a hole in the door but 100% better - I just couldn't get used to the view from an angle when reversing.
Only other concern from your writeup is the Ineos tow policy @ 100klm. Of all things that was promised for early adopters - for those travelling remote.... flying spanners, workshop manuals, we have you covered etc etc... seems Land Rover of all vehicles have a much better outback recovery scheme from what I can gather, Australia at least - like we will recover you...(maybe this just applies if you have a youtube channel
) thanks again for your review.
