Hey, I like your simple design! Question ... I have found anything and everything mounted on the backs of vehicles corrodes quickly unless it's aluminum or stainless steel. It's why I've landed on 1UP product for bikes and they are amazing but they don't have a ready-to-go ski solution AFAIK.

What are your metal tubing and fasteners made from?

EDIT: Answering my own question... Powdercoated steel tubing. Can't tell what the fasteners are. I see you have a lifetime warranty but it doesn't cover rust. Ok. Still a possibility because, hey, cool design. Thank you!

Great question. For sure winter freeze/ thaw conditions drove our material choices. Pipe is HDPE (schedule 32.5 6 1/4 diameter) hardware is pretty much all stainless except for a zinc screw and bolt for stability. We are probably the largest buyer of HDPE that isn't a mining company--its designed to be above ground, and takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
