Fuse Boxes

cockpit - that will suit the aviators (emax)

That's what the fuses in our cockpits look like. They are automatic fuses and stick out if they have triggered.

Fi-ve ey-es.
AUS spy on US, US on UK, UK on FR, DE on AUS, FR on DE, no one looking at their own people, but all share info. It's evil, pure evil.
US,UK,RU,FR - all spy on Germany.
Germany - is just dumb.

Would that be the only No1 song in Australian history that was sung in German
And is on my car hardrive
On the pop charts probably yes.
Rammstein possibly would top lists of alternative genres 😁
How many of those songs on your playlist?

Yeah, I just dived down that rabbit hole out of curiosity. Only other German language single I can think of is Der Kommissar, which reached 7.
Du Hast peaked at 97, but as you say got plenty of play on alt radio.

Biggest German single sung in English I think is Mambo No.5 (1). Wind of Change, the other candidate I can think of, reached 7. Major Tom 57…

I forgot this one
It is also on the car but I usually turn the knob and skip it

How could you forget this gem….

Technically the singer and the subject is Austrian not German , but in a derailed thread I suspect it will be tolerated!
Fun fact : Mozart's real name was Joannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart
And as our Latin scholar , aka The Boremanator will confirm , Chrysostomus in Greek translates as "Golden Mouth".
Are you conFUSED yet?

She was (and still is) a sexy girl. And I like the music.

But the lyrics is a bit goofy.

As to Austrian: If you guys were native Austrian/German speakers, I'd recommend Wolfgang Ambros. Geil! (Awesome!)

But even without understanding the whole plot of the lyrics, they are still great songs!

"Watzmann" for example, or "Schifoan" ...

Frank Zappa's lyrics are deep to some , but to him they were just leaves on the tree of music (the important part)

Have been in Dez. at Watzmann mit Ambros in Mannheim.
i think last time he will perform it.
have seen first 30 years ago, with Ambros, Prokopetz and Hubert von Goisern also in Mannheim, sensational

After WW2 the UK and the Americans were the only ones who knew the German enigma machine had been cracked. They kept that secret for years and recommended the enigma machines to all the other allies, including the Australians and Canadians. That way they could keep tabs on all their 'friends'...
Its nice having a security service but you wouldn't trust them!

My love of abbreviations obliged me to make a table for those used on the fuse card I posted about one week ago. I hope I didn't make mistakes, because a few of them were a best guess. Corrections are welcome.

The funny thing is that my car has fuses for the seat heating. A TrialMaster has no seat heating. I should check if they didn't provide it, but I didn't look at the buttons of the Dashboard.
