I would think the short video is intended for agent's/dealer's showrooms.
They know the "hardcore" owners will make much entertaining worldwide content for Ineos' behalf , for free!
Forum members will only make up a small % of future owners so our perspective on what IA should do is biased.

Agree, I thought they might have made a more substantial video, or a series. I guess once they crossed the Straits of Gibraltar to Spain it was just boring motorways. Oh well.
Not sure about the comment earlier regarding the benefits of steel wheels. It looked to me like they gave the damaged on a bit of a bang with a hammer but didn't put it back on the vehicle. I imagine they just popped the spare one one.

FME

CJE
CHN

LHD:-

I'm curious why the film shows the London doctor with the BZG car at home:

The critics are harsh! What do they want , this 65 yo Land Rover epic where the main guy gets a leech latched on his cock somewhere in Burma?
The Impossible Takes a Little Longer book:
"This is a true account of an incredible journey across the world, driving a Land Rover. The year is 1957, and the intrepid Eric Edis has an expedition planned on scraps of paper. Not wanting to follow in the footsteps of others, Eric decides to follow his dream and do something that had never been done before; he is going to drive from London to Australia!and back again. After bringing together a team, he sets off on his massive adventure. But there is one thing he can't plan for: Entry to the famous Burma/Ledo Road. Burma was in the grip of conflict, and would not grant land-travel visas to anyone, it was too dangerous. Eric decides to cross that bridge when he comes to it, twice! How do his team get through Burma? Well, on a wing and a prayer mostly, and with an illegal manoeuvre that would make James Bond proud! And remember, these were the days before GPS, SATNAV, and any of the modern aids we take for granted today. All Eric had in Burma was a sketched map and sheer, cussed, unwavering determination."

I hoped for a longer video or videos as well. Slightly disappointed. We got tons of material down there. And after Gibraltar I tried to avoid motorways as much as possible. Went through the alps and crossed as many mountain passes as possible (quite limited due to the snow).

Greetz, Ingemar ;-)

CJE and BZG were swapped a few times through the video.

we had several Grenadiers in the team. the winner cars and rest was support vehicles. And some locally rented Landcruisers. I drove mine all the way....in Morocco and up to Austria ;-)

I suppose you’re not going to tell us what broke or went wrong 🤔

sure I do! Nothing went as planned due to the crazy weather. The route was constantly changed and we never slept where we were supposed to (except in Marrakech). That also meant we couldn't do as much offroad as planned cause all the "nice" tracks were covered in snow and the streets closed down by the police. The team tried to "convince" them but it didn't work.
During the five days in Morocco we had two flat tires on the Grenadiers and one break down of a Landcruiser (they managed to fix it after a few hours).
Since those were/are early cars the software sometimes showed failures that weren't there (that is gone now). Some door knobs got stuck every now and then but that got fixed on all the cars as well (was a production error).
All the hard ware worked fine and it still does. Right now I have roughly 9000km on my car....no issues so far. I will talk about reliability and issues after 10k on my YT channel as well....trying to provide honest information there...
