FAQ National Flags

Flags have been updated again.

They are automatically assigned by your ip address. (as I write this @Logsplitter has a Namibian flag) you can opt out of this if you wish in your account settings.

But, and this is the secret sauce, if you want a particular countries flag then message me and I can manually set this up for you. they are drawn from the ISO 3166-1 alpha code for the relevant country.

For anyone confused about flags. Please read the first post.

Additionally to this Apple have introduced some proxy ip thing with their latest software update. So if you’re in Canada and are actually in the USA then check this.

If it's possible, I would prefer a Scottish flag (Saltire)

Ta very much
Flags are based on the ISO 3166-1 protocol as mentioned above. If the flag isn’t there then I can’t help.

If people want one that’s not on the list all I can suggest is to change your avatar with your desired flag.

Post 24 explains a bit if you’re using apple products. iCloud private relays can pup up anywhere, I was in Toronto for a while but I’ve not been there in years.

Your flag will revert to the ip you are on when the system runs some routines. I think these are done in the early hours uk time.
