Europe Exterior Mirror adjustment 5 seat Station Waggon

Good Morning folks,

Am I being extraordinarily thick ? [ wouldn't be the 1st time!]

So standard 5 seat Station waggon without the optional power heated exterior mirrors.

Hand book says

Exterior mirrors - electrically adjustable using the pad on the drivers door.

Drivers door says "Bugger off no mirror adjustment here"

Mirrors are "solid as a rock" so don't want to pull them around and mess things up

So is there something missing
Are others having the same issue
and any advice welcome

I've got the electric option so can't really be definitive in finding the adjustment but is there no arm/pivot immediately inside the door adjacent to the mirror or an adjustment screw under the mirror that might need free g off before it moves?

Failing that it's just brute force... until it moves or something is broken.

Yes the handbook is wrong, the mirrors are ""handymatic only" unless you go for the heated and power fold options. such is life.

Yes, but how do you adjust them?

You just move the glass inside the mirror shroud with finger pressure. Moves smoothly and has stayed put so far.
