Team, I have the factory dual battery system installed and want to install the Ecoflow 800W Alternator Charger. I just need some advice on whether to connect it to the starter battery or the secondary battery. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The Ecoflow manual should tell you.

EDIT: diagram says it can be wired to the main or aux battery - or what it calls Starter and RV House batteries (see Point E and Footnote 1).

Connect positive to the spare fused 60 amp busbar (one in the middle if it’s spare on yours, says 60amp on top) and negative to nearest ground earth. Search busbar/bluetti/ecoflow. A few people including myself have done it.

Remember to put the car to sleep before any install. This procedure set out in Rok Dr Guide.

Specs are stating a 125 amp fuse. But if a 60 amp fuse does not blow I would consider it. Also the MEGA ZCASE fuse, in the busbar, can be ungraded, I upgraded it for my air compressor to 80 amps.

You are right. I have a BLUETTI charger which only requires 60 amp. Charges max 500w. Whereas Ecoflow is 800w. That’s a one hell of a big fuse. I know it comes with 125w isolator and some folks have wired it directly to the battery instead of the busbar. I did a quick google and some have suggested a 100 amp fuse.

125 amps is also a little weird, I used on online converter and 800w at 12v comes out at 67amps. The specs say max charging is 76 amps, both well short of 125amps.

When in doubt follow the manufacturer recommendation, to preserve the warranty and they should know their product.

Following the installation guide I connected to starter battery positive terminal and the negative post near the strter battery. Has operated fine with set up. I think INEOS recommend connecting all things via the starter battery. Btw this alternator charger seems to be very effective
