Both my front door seals are letting go around the hinge points and no longer can be pushed back on. I'll have to get fixed under warranty.

What was the symptom of failure for the safari window seals? Were they lifting away from the body?
the side of headlining was soaking wet, both sides above front seats going back to rear seats. odd drip on dashboard and seat, drips of water running down b pillar and splashes of water in rear footwell. I park car on an incline facing up hill so water runs back, only got drips on dash when started moving for a very short time. car was so wet o had to dry the roof lining and rear footwell.

But what about from the seal perspective? When you removed the glass, could you discern anything obvious? Like seal detached from the body? Or seal deformed?

I left it to the dealer to sort out, I was using for a 2 week holiday and didn't want to make it worse by fiddling with it. Luckily I managed to find a hill I could park on face down and then it didn't leak

There is no guide on the door to stick new seals so they have to use chalk to guesstimate. Too tight, seal may come loose, too much gap then leaks. I do wonder if they use alcohol wipes to clean the area. But the whole thing must be redesigned not by cutting silly holes in them.

The seals generally have been a problem for so many owners. I am actually going to mark out ALL of my seals incase I need to roll out a whole new one in the future.
