„For our next mountain trail run, we take the Grenadier, will you?“

No trail up here I would not have approached with my Quartermaster with confidence.

What people actually living and working here use, by capability:
  1. Tracked ATVs, ATVs
  2. Jimny; Niva; G government versions; LCs (J20, J15); old Defenders
  3. Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu AWD pickups
  4. Cheap AWD SUVs
Measured by capability, ample opportunity for Ineos, as Suzuki Jimny, Lada Niva, old Defender are no longer produced or available, G 464 (https://ggb.mercedes-benz.com/en/vehicles/base-vehicles-model-series-464) is no longer road-legal for private use (emissions-wise), and new LCs are perceived as more onroad/comfort oriented and less rugged. Pricing (including taxes) I would imagine could pose an issue though.

Had to say goodbye to my little Arthur last week, so this is just a little tribute. I miss him so much; honestly, forever would not be long enough with these littles.

He was so special to me — he was returned 3x to the shelter where I volunteered, then I met him. He didn’t want any of the volunteers to touch him, he was too scared. But he liked me immediately, sat in my lap, let me pet him etcetera — no idea why! So that was it, he was mine — couldn’t bear the thought of him going through any more trauma. He didn’t like anyone else in the world, just me — he was very much a curmudgeon with everyone else. But he was such a love ❤️. Hope it’s okay to post this, no intention of bringing a sad vibe!
