When I start my Grenadier from cold (well, summer cold which is circa 20 deg C), the coolalt temperature gauge gets up to 90degC after only 1.5 miles. Anyone else noticed that? - the gauge cannot be showing an accurate reading.

This ~ think how many kW of energy are released in a few minutes, and the efficiency of a ICE ~ there's so much thermal energy surplus. There is a two part cooling system look at thew BMW article on it looks quite sophisticated compared to old designs.
ICE? Hmmm ... abbreviation?
