Remember them well for the headlight dipper in lots of cars. The Army Studebaker trucks had the same switch under the clutch pedal so you had to push the clutch pedal to the floor to activate the starter motor.
The Series 1 Landy had a dip switch near the horn button.

I suppose the modern version is to have the foot brake depressed to start the car.

If anyone ever asks if the chequerplate on the GRenadier front quarters is useful or just for show..............

I am surprised Suzuki didn't take legal action against Ineos as well.
They are almost identical

If you took the wheels off the Suzuki, it might fit in the back load space of the Gren😂😂

40+ years ago I had a little Suzuki Sierra and when I had to cross a way too deep creek there was a guy in a big american/Canadian ute. F250??
He drove into the creek, backed up to the bank and I drove on in.
Took us a little while to find a suitable spot on the other side but it amused the 20 or so 4wds in the convoy.
