Just read the difference/explanation of UK (correct) & US (wrong) gallons. They are both British measurements but the US one was for wine & the UK one was for ale. As we have real men & women in the UK we obviously went for the ale measurements rather than the softies wine measurements. Well, that's how I read it

On the date format, many British newspapers have the format "Friday May 4th 2023" (it used to be all of them)
When asked my birthday, I would probably say May the fourth rather than the fourth of May.
So no, us Brits cannot mock the US, at least they are consistent.

No, we can, we definitely can, it's normally backhanded though as we Brits are generally the worst
