Choosing a Color - Grenadier Colors in the Wild

In certain light, if you hold up the 2 samples say in the sun, then those 2 blues look identical but for the ‘sparkles’ in the metallic.
does that help you relax🥴😀
They are all good colours… second guessing yourself is nearly impossible to avoid, but if you were drawn to a colour, trust yourself. Its easier than grinding your teeth…
Hi James, My tirade was a bit in jest. I truly did go back and forth like many others in choosing my final color. My first choice was Shale Blue and then I saw an Eldoret Blue with Black Roof and really liked it and abandoned my first choice and then after much thought went back to my first choice, Shale Blue. I imagine a lot of us have overthought this to the point of torture because we eventually have to make that final decision. All the colors look great and I am going to enjoy seeing everyone drive by me in their Grenadiers and rejoice and give them the V wave. DaBull

I am being tortured – stop it – please. I originally was going to choose Eldoret Blue with a Black Roof and then switched to an all Shale Blue Trial Master and was really resting well with my final choice and then you have to post this. At least mine is still Blue. DaBull
I was originally going to go with the brunette with the large breasts and questionable life choices.
I changed my mind and went for the short blonde in the next group over.
36 years later I am still with the short blonde(???)

Magic Mushroom is named for very good reasons!
No photos do it justice either.
In sunlight it’s a vibrant warm creamy colour, but toward the end of the day when the sun loses its strength, it turns into a greyer shade.
Even the DVLA in the UK call it grey!! You’d never think it was until it catches the right light.
It also sets off the blacks and greys of the bumpers, steel wheels, ladder, bump strips and utility rails.
I just wish I’d had the chassis in red.

Disclaimer: I was not under the influence of magic mushrooms whilst replying to this thread!

Well there was no way they were going to call it "dirty white"

Hi Loc Nar,

What
I'm struggling to decide upon a color and bet I'm not alone (currently debating Magic Mushroom, Sela Green, Brittannia Blue, and Scottish White). I thought it would be helpful to stake out a thread for folks to post high quality non-rendered videos of the different colors (and roof color combos) on the road, in the bush, etc. in a variety of lighting conditions.

So, to kick things off, here is a HD video of a Magic Mushroom Trialmaster in action that I stumbled across:

If you have found some similar quality videos for MM and the other colors, please share them here. Thanks!

What color(s) were you thinking about? I have the same problem. I’m visiting Germany and I found an Ineos dealer nearby. I had a chance to see all of the colors (but red) on the vehicles. Took pics and videos. Saw them all side-by-side and with different contrast roofs. Here’s where I am at. I was leaning on the grey after looking at online images. But in-person, it looks super dark, almost black. I like the green a lot because it’s so British. It’s really beautiful on the Ineos. This is one of my top choices. But the girls in my family said all of the colors are boring except for the light blue. I also saw on the Ineos Instagram page that grey and green are the top two colors chosen so far. I mentioned this to my wife, she said to not make the same mistake of all of the men who like boring colors that don’t stand out. It’s true, the light blue stands out the most. It will catch more attention. It also shows all the detail of the vehicle. I’m thinking that a color that has less ordered will be less common and worth more money in the future. What do you think?

Contrast Roof Color: If a full-length (black) roof rack is to be installed, I would think that a similarly black roof would make for a nice ‘unified’ appearance.

Having seen them all in the flesh, I’d be putting a contrast roof on each of them without a doubt.

Just thought this may be of intrest. I drove past a MB dealer Sunday and saw an "Polar White" G Wagon and parked next to it. My truck is Scottish White - not MM!

You should consider Queen's Red. When we picked up our Sela Green, there was a Queen's Red sitting there that made us stop in our tracks and say "Wow". The deep red color needs to be seen in person. It would make you unique since everyone wants magic mushroom or Scottish white.

Meanwhile in Illinois, I noticed that most orders (including surrounding states) are mostly dark colors.
There were very few MM & SW colors listed in the dealer's website.

The Grenadier Scottish white is more of a cream colour and I think it looks fantastic in the flesh.
Particularly with the black checker plates on the front wings.
That G wagen looks damned ugly.
