Well add this to the list. Check engine light came on after filling up with gas, pump stopped on its own, check engine light has been on since. Bought an OBD2 Scanner cleared code did not clear light. Opened gas cap for about 30min. Closed it and hooked up OBD2 again code was gone and light went off. Seems like I am getting all the problems from threads in this forum one by one. Contacted Evan from Crown St Pete. No response yet for a time to get all these issues looked at. 8 hour round trip. I suggest they get some non Ineos dealer authorized service centers.

If you find a shop local that uses Autel will have full access to the Grenadier. (Mine does). I haven't read the warranty paper work but any shop can request warranty repair for any vehicle, most (Like my BMW's) says only major repairs are required to be done by dealer service centers. Not saying its worth your time to dive into that but its not uncommon for warranty repairs to happen at third party shops. Just call a couple shops see if they are willing to try or attempt, some already are setup with many brands just that this one is dang new. Kinda falls into the service laws where you can do any maintenance work your self and it cannot be denied (keep documentation) but they are allowed to limit types of repairs that would fall under the warranty itself. Maybe if I get time I will dive into Ineo's warranty documentation.

I had the same thing happen. Called the dealer. The conversation was a bit surreal- 'My check engine light came on, can't imagine why'-'Did you get gas?'-'I did'-'Well, there's your problem!'. What the actual F.
I was able to clear it with my reader, but good lord. Turns out it's a known problem and there's a fix for it. But it's a trip to the dealer, unfortunately.

Thanks for the info! I just don’t want to pay for any work like HVAC, alignments, or C11 error done on my vehicle with less than 1k miles on it. Maybe they have someone closer that can do the warranty work for them. I will check.

I had the CEL come on after over filling it ... Since that time after the nozzle clicks off I stop adding gas.. The issue seems to occur when you top off the fuel tank.

As stated above, it is a known issue, with a known fix (software update) for many of the MY24 vehicles (if yours was built after ~March, it doesn't have the update available yet).

These are important considerations to think of when you're buying a vehicle with a limited service network, none of it should be a surprise

Same issue for me. Amber check engine light came on after refueling. Gas cap was on correctly.Dealership 2.5 hours away wants me to “drop” in so they can clear the code. Also, cruise control doesn’t work with check engine light on

with the CEL triggered cruise control is disabled, same as with a number of other modern vehicles. It has nothing to do with the gas cap.

If your VIN is <17000, take it to the dealer for the update with the code still active (don't clear it); if it is >17000, just have anyone with an OBD2 code reader clear the code as there isn't a software update available for you
