Build month and delays.....

As far as I am aware the new Defender isn't suitable for fitting more than a little nudge bar.

OEM bar was available from the start:

And it might have taken a few years, but the aftermarket has caught up:

Glad they have worked out how to put Winches on them now without cutting irreplaceable wiring looms behind the bumper.
This is the Australian website showing all exterior protection options for the new Defender.
The checker body protection kit is plastic.
The A frame protection bar is also plastic.

Yes that's a definite plus for the Ineos approach ~ plug & play.

Speaks more to the bods at JLR not really having much market/aftermarket knowledge of the subject matter; that and the fact that you have to measure & cut various bits of plastic to make a winch fit shows it was not designed to have one in the first place.

The mods in this forum must be very tolerant or hungry.
For me, I´m happy if i don´t burn water in a pot.
As I taught my son... the way to a woman's heart is through her stomach.
Anyone can buy a woman a nice meal...........but if you cook her one she will stay for breakfast

90, 110, 130, with coil springs, with air suspension, it's all there on the page:

So back on topic...

It seemed that there was a cluster of German owners that looked to be getting the first orders, and some UK owners may have thought their orders should have been higher up the allocation.

A similar thing has happened with regard to the new model from Lotus, and it may be relevant to hear his explanation. Starts about 20:20 in:

Can't help seeing lots of other similarities between the two companies, product, owners, etc.

50% of UK owners wanted to collect their car from the factory rather than an agent or home delivery. 👍

Received an email from Ineos this morning - it was blank......?????

Anyone else get this?

Yep sure did. Probably trying to celebrate the first production vehicle coming off the line at Hambach and had a technical hiccup (not totally unexpected). My guess anyway...

I received an email this morning promoting (again) the Australia video series.
