No the wipers work exactly as if the film wasn’t there. This film literally solves the problem!
I now know that you can buy the film yourself and put it on. I had my dealer do it and it is perfect but it cost $2400. I guess you can buy the film and do it your self for about $700
@SkiBum1 - I had an unplanned visit to Knauz on Saturday (driving from Madison to Chicago and my oil warning light went off around Janesville). I asked Dave how much they charged us - he didn’t have the exact number but said it was $800 something - so both of us were wrong. So yeah it’s pricey, but not crazy - and I just don’t know why you wouldn’t do it for the extra protection, given the frequency with which these screens break.
