Well, I’ve got an engine light, probably due to gas overfill. Is there a consensus on the best OBD reader for the IG?

If you take your Grenadier to a dealer with the light on - they will give you a software update that fixes it.

If you clear the code, they will not.

OBD Link CX/MX+
Works with your phone, I’ve been using it with my BMW’s and my Ineos, clears all the codes, reads most.

Always up to date
Thanks. To your knowledge is there anything the the CX version can do with respect to the Grenadier that the more expensive MX+ can't?

Cheers

In answer to my own question I did a bit of googling and it seems the MX + supports enhanced diagnostics for Ford, GM and a number of other manufacturers in addition to the std ISO protocols. It can also pair with a windows PC without the use of a BLE adaptor. Usefully for Australians it appears to have enhanced diagnostics support for Holden.
