About to do a service on my Grenadier and would like some insight from people who’ve done it.

Changing oil and filter this weekend and the plan is to change diff fluid next weekend.

Where we got the Grenadier from they are saying they use Kendall Special Limited Slip 80w90

Looking at Grenadiers spec sheet they are calling for Fuchs Titan Supergear 80w90
For the life of me I can’t find where to buy the Kendall gear oil and when I look up the Fuchs I don’t see anywhere where it says it’s for a limited slip diff.

Reason I’m being so anal about the whole thing is I will save my money ($800 at Grenadier) and do the work myself. I will save all receipts and document all milage and amounts. I am even going to use their specific oil brand recommendations so IF something happens I have a leg to stand on.

So can anyone assist with this? Does the Fuchs have limited slip? Or is there a brand that meets ALL specs and criteria so IF an issue were to arise I would still have a leg to stand on?

Right now I’m leaning towards this….

Thanks so much!!!

Titan Super gear , is nothing special the specification is GL - 5
Every lubricant manufacturer in the USA should have a direct equivalent.
Stick with GL - 5 don’t bother going with anything fancy or higher spec. It a very well proven specification.

Cool this is what was thinking so as long as it meets the GL-5 spec it’s essentially within the manufacturer requirement specs yes?

There is no need for limited slip oils, but they would not hurt.
You’re correct, I forgot to mention this. The Grenadier does not have limited slip differentials, so a gear oil with anti-slip additive is not needed and might actually increase wear of the gears and bearings.

Just got home. Receipt from RDS says Kendall special limited slip 80w-90.

For the transfer case it says Kendall SHP Syngear FE 75w-90
