AUSTRALIA: Third party suppliers for the Grenadier

Apart from a lot of guessing the video really doesn't say a lot.
It does show the INEOS ANZ QM build with the JMACX suspension fitted and shows the coming steering damperer. That video is now few months old.

speaking of Peter Brock... mentioned here briefly.. somewhere....

None of the posts or videos have addressed the test reports posted on the CAT Systems website. When I looked at Rust Prevention 12 months ago I was aware of a lot of snake oil salesmen. So I was skeptical when I looked.

I reviewed the CAT reports, looked at buyer's feedback (both on and away from the ACT website), noted it was used by a several mining companies (after they tested it) and decided to give it a try. My field observations support what CAT says about its product. I waited nearly 12 months to look at performance. People can make their own choices but it is a straw man argument not to address what CAT says, especially by referring to other company's products.

I called in to see Justin yesterday and despite the 40 degree heat and lack of scalp cover we had a great chat and went over a fair bit.
Yes he was extremely nice to talk with and makes a great product.
I have borrowed a prototype bracket.
I spoke with Bush Company on the phone today and they were very interested but also not aware of this type of mounting.
I have emailed initial information and pictures and plan to go to their premises in a couple of weeks.
They are 198 kms from my place but only 12 kms from our factory in Coolum.

Hi all.
Just a quick update
After my initial phone call and following email.
I call Bush Company again and they don't seem to be at all interested.
Don't seem to understand why I wouldn't want a roof rack and use their existing mounts.
I have been researching the Bushwakka range and think I might start talking with them.

Updated

ROOF RACK/BARS
  1. INEOS offers the Rhino Rack Pioneer platform and roof bars;
  2. GrenX Ultra Low profile roof rack system. Full details here with pricing;
  3. Cargo Bear, look here; and
  4. Black Sheep Roof carrier from Black Sheep Innovations Australia.
Hi Doc great list you have produced on the forum. Just wondering if you have any info on the Rola Ridgemount kit for the Ineos? Or if you know anyone who has installed it?

EDIT: That list you posted was not the latest, because I saw Rola when I went back to the master post. The most up to date lists are on the front page of the thread.

It turns out I did have a link of sorts to Rola, now updated, see Item 4. I have now added the link to the Rola website, the other link was already posted.

Hi DaveB

You could just buy whatever awning you want and bring it to us to make the brackets for you....

Yet another update on the Bush Company Awning situation.
This morning I called into The Bush Company and after looking over my vehicle and the prototype bracket supplied by Justin at Euro Flo they became a lot more interested.
Soon the tape measure was out and there was lots of climbing on the vehicle.
They are comfortable they can come up with a solution that mounts low and very close to the rear of the vehicle roof.
I passed on Justins details so they can work together to come up with a good solution.
Hopefully in a couple of months we will have it sorted.

Item 1 is new, a new custom made More4X4 L track for the Grenadier (More4x4 calls it an M Track), significantly cheaper than the Blacksheep option.

L TRACK FOR GRENADIER
If you did not order L Tracks on your IG there are now aftermarket options:
  1. More4X4 L track made for the Grenadier here;
  2. Black Sheep Innovations Australia here; and
  3. Offroad-Tec Airline Mounting Rail here. NOTE: this option is NOT the same as the OEM L Track. So, study it closely before buying.

Thanks for the mention, I appreciate it.

Maybe we should do some group buy discounts?
