My sister lives in North Dakota (northern US) and she sent me pics last night — so cool!

My niece plays hockey in Leksand, Sweden and she sends a lot of pictures and they’re just incredible. She says that the colors are way more obvious when you look at them through your phone!

Looks great over the gumtrees as a different perspective. So are your version of the Northern Lights called the Southern Lights?
Yep. But we just call it the aurora.
It was as good as I've seen in 50 years. The curtains were massive and there was a 90 degree panorama, despite a half moon lighting the night sky.
No doubt the camera enhances things but you could readily make out yellow, orange , red, pink and green with the naked eye.

Mine was taken out of an airplane window. Couldn't see the lights without taking a picture so that was odd.
You need to pause your brain for 5 seconds to see it 😉
That's camera magic for you!
