The dealer received the US flag badge and installed this week. However, the flag design is backwards. Does everyones look like this? Is there an explanation for it?

That is completely weird. Got to be a manufacturing issue. Your dealer should not have installed that.

Have you beaten me to it, this was a big topic of discussion on here about 14 months ago. It’s odd that the Union Jack is still the same way round though.

This is the correct orientation for the US flag when on the passenger side - stars up front / strips behind ... its driving into the wind.
Cheers!

Unlike the flags of many nations, ours is asymmetrical so orientation matters. These on the other hand: 🇦🇲🇦🇹🇧🇪🇧🇼🇧🇬🇧🇫🇨🇦🇹🇩🇨🇷🇨🇮🇪🇪🇪🇺🇫🇷🇬🇦🇩🇪🇬🇲🇬🇭🇬🇪🇬🇳🇭🇺🇮🇩🇮🇪🇮🇹🇯🇲🇯🇵🇮🇱🇱🇻🇱🇧🇱🇺🇳🇱🇳🇬🇲🇨🇵🇪🇵🇱🇷🇺🇷🇴🇸🇱🇺🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇾🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This is why if you ever notice a service member wearing the US flag patch on their right shoulder the flag has the same orientation.
