I know I've seen an aftermarket red roof handle/lashing bar but I can't find it again. Does anyone know who makes the red versions of these?

Wow! Those would look sharp on a Britannia Blue Grenadier.

I have not done it but I would suggest something like this might work:

Well folks, that was a complete fail. The shrink wrap was first of all the wrong color (too bright). Secondly, it did not shrink evenly. wavy lines everywhere. So I put it back together. giving up on this.

Thanks Bruce. I have been searching for weeks and couldn't find them.

I realize this is just a cosmetic change.. but I've spent $100 on lesser pursuits. Changed the silver alum bars out for black bars off Amazon, shipped from China. Took about 30-45 minutes to switch them out. I think it is a real improvement but it is all subjective.

Update.. In the last few weeks I've noticed the color of my bars changing, at first a somewhat blue/purple tint and now an almost bronze color. I went back to Amazon and reviewed the product but I didn't see a way to reach out to the seller. They are in China so I'm doubtful I have any recourse. So now I think I'm, going to either have to paint the bars or get them powder coated.

New Update.. Seller has reached out to me and indicates a different process is now used to color the bars. They have offered to send me a replacement set. Their response to my concern was prompt. I will update this again when the replacement bars arrive.
