The automatic emergency braking would mean a front radar sensor. It's in a great spot on the Jeep GC, nice & low, wide open to damage from sand, rocks, water, mud.... and only $5k to replace.
Not necessary, but helpful if someone passes on the wrong side - or worse, blind spot sits. Backup cameras aren’t necessary - we can turn our heads, although I guess the same applies to mirrors just the same.I can adjust the mirrors so that by the time a vehicle disappears from the mirror it's in my peripheral vision, so is one really necessary?
