Accessories

that look like a a fine idea

Excellent idea. One of the things I hate in my home built rear door camp table is that any bottom bump causes the table to wobble. It’s suspended by paracord. This is a much better design. I’m gonna steal it ?

From the conversation that I had at the la event. The answer was no. There will not be a sunshade, the glass will be treated with a slight tint and some anti uv coating. That’s what I remember anyway.
As the panels are removable I’d give the aftermarket a little while before they cone up with solid insulated panels. Or INEOS if you’re reading. It would be a really good idea.
hopefully like Tesla’s. All glass but really well done

Hi, I was speaking to an INEOS dealer in Australia today.
He confirmed that it is INEOS's intention to supply all of the accessories to the dealers for aftermarket supply and fitment.
They are also working with other suppliers of products "ARB" for example, to make their products available for supply through the INEOS dealer network too.

Sounds like a good move.

Looking at the TrialMaster wagon, I have a few questions regarding various options.
1.  Is there any need to adder either the Rubber Floor Mats, or Carpet floor Mats over the standard Heavy Duty Utility Flooring with drain valves?
2.  What are folks thoughts on the side runners?  Since these are a dealer installed option, would it be better/easier to wait for an after market pair?
3.   Will the Class III hitch be changed to a full 2" hitch or an option of a 2" be offered?
4.   The 'Smokers Pack' says it provides a cigarette lighter and ashtray.  Do you think the lighter is just heating element or will it include an additional 12vdc plug that could be used for other power needs.   I've tried looking at the configurator for the ashtray location but can't seem to find it.
Thanks in advance for any input on these items.

I was also thinking of adding the smokers pack as I run sat navs and phone chargers from them in my Disco 4.  If they wont do the same job then I won't bother.

Further to above I have just spoken to Mark Godbold at J T Hughes where I am having mine delivered, (very helpful and knowledgeable guy).  He  said the dash already has USB ports and power port that takes the cigarette lighter fittings so no need for the smokers pack in my case!

The ports seem to be not in the dash, but in the central storage tray.

Looks like we can’t be to far away from each other, or are you unfortunate enough to have to drive miles just get to a dealer. Thanks for the contact at JT Hughes though.
In answer to the questions posed, I didn’t have the mats in mine as, a good set of heavyweight rubber ones just through over the top of the rubber floor will only be a few quid from most places. I did order the side runners but I am now wondering if I should cut them out for reasons you state, I will revisit that one I think. No idea on the tow hitch

Cant see why you would need the smokers pack as most of the stuff runs off usb/usb-c these days. I would like to think that there are suitable 12v sockets placed in strategic places around the vehicle.

a shame,  since having the usb ports in the dash would make mounting a dash cam really convenient.

My car has two USB Ports in the dash, but only one of them carries data between my iPhone and the Apple CarPlay system. Do you think the Grenadier’s USB set-up will be similar?

I need to find somewhere to mount two iphones, one work other personal, where they can also charge and interact with the vehicle and display.

I think I have just answered my own question sorry.
As I have now decided not to go with the leather seats that means the two controls for heated front seats are not there leaving blank panels.
I should be able to mount two phone holders, one on each with charging cables fed through from behind.
I assume if I ever need to change them these blank panels will be available as spares

FYI you can get heated seats without upgrading to leather ?

It's an interesting point how little space there is for such add-ons.

I owned a Volvo v90 and the chargers where in the armrest bin one controlled AA/Carplay the other was charging.  I plan on install  something similar unless we get AA/Carplay wireless (doubt it because it needs wifi to work). But I will have chargers in the armrest bin

But can you get leather, without heated seats?
