Used 3 of the DVA Mechanics clamps to mount my 48-in. Hi-Lift to the rear ladder. I'll add the neoprene boot to the bottom and the handle isolator at the top (note, jack base removed - I keep it stored with the rest of the Hi-Lift kit inside the truck).

Sadly, as mentioned above, if you orient the clamps 180-degrees so that the entirety of the ladder rungs are free of obstruction, the Hi-Lift will bump into the tail light when the smaller door is fully opened. It's possible that the neoprene boot would prevent damage, but why take the chance?

It looks great -- we have a longer clamp (we haven't listed it for sale yet) that has an extra 1" of clearance away from the ladder. Would that help to clear your tail light? If so, I'll send you a set to swap them out. Can you send a side view picture?
Thanks - I think I’m good as-is since most of the ladder is still accessible.

It seems the ladder rungs protrude to different degrees since the bottom portion of the jack contacts the rung while the others don’t. A bit of rubber tape on the rung and that problem was solved.

I bought some longer M8 bolts to hang the jack on (the ones that come with the DVA clamps are too short for my use) and some 4-prong female m8 nuts in lieu of wing nuts (they’re kind of small at M8 size).

Calling this complete at this point. View attachment 7879458View attachment 7879459

That is a sharp set up.

I'm installing my ladder sometime soon (had dealer throw one in my trunk during sale), I'm hoping to add a chainsaw scabbard on the left side of the ladder. Anyone done this yet with a Mac's tie downs scabbard?
