AC Problems

I am having issues with my AC. I've had the vehicle since March 2024.

My issue is when the AC is activated and in cooling phase it does seem to work properly, all be it erratic, but when I want heat with AC on, for instance to demist windows in cold wet weather and keep cabin warm, all windows fog up. Fan runs at whatever speed I select however it seems the actual AC does not activate. This is the first vehicle where for some reason windows do not demist when AC is activated.

I’ve taking it back to the dealer three times for the same issue. They say they have ‘re-calibrated the system’, whatever that means, but still no change. They run it a couple of times and say it’s running correctly.

TBH it is not only frustrating but dangerous.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I can have issues from time to time. I found putting AC into full auto mode for a minute or two and then back to manual seems to fixes whatever was playing up. Try it.
