My credit card was rejected because it popped up as a fraud attempt since I was buying overseas.  I received an email from my credit card company asking if it was fraud.  I said no and was able to go back in and purchase.

I'll have to give mine a call as I didn't get an email. I suspected it might be fraud blocking on their side. Probably a relatively easy work-around. Thanks for sharing ?

I was totally going to order one of these, but credit card wouldn't work.  But just today the United States Supreme Court made a decision on an old case, deeming it unconstitutional for my State to deny my concealed carry permit (pistol) because they don't think I have a real need to defend myself (despite living in Oakland where police can't protect me and ppl are getting shot and robbed on the regular).  So I'm going to spend that money on the permit application instead.  Congratulations to the Americans in the blue states... at least a sliver of the Constitution still stands!

To feel that you need a gun just to go about your daily life is so sad.

It's like a seat belt.  You don't wear it because you think you're going to get wrecked.  You wear it just in case you do. What is sad is how many country's governments have convinced them that they're not allowed to defend themselves against people who don't care about the laws. But thanks for your concern?

I am not anti gun and these are my toys. Everyone thinks in Australia you can’t own guns which is wrong. It’s only criminals who can’t own guns or get their hands on them very easily.

YOU Sir have good taste!!  Love those two!  Criminals aren't supposed to have them here in the U.S. either, it's just that they're MUCH easier to smuggle into here and we have the Mexican cartels just below us with a massive border that half of our country is intent on ignoring.  If we were on an island it might be a different story, but these days you can just print them while you're taking a shit so... gone are the days of stopping bad guys with laws. My question is... where is the best place for a solid lock box in the IG?

It is the wrong topic where you post. Your guns don't seem to be 1/18th models. Mankind were better off with these as toys. ?

I do agree on the topic but not on the weapons. They are not evil by themselves.

I wonder if these toy cars will end up being collectors items.  I suppose that would depend on how the whole saga goes.

They only will be collector items if there is a market for them and limited supply. I doubt it but I didn't buy them to try to make money.

Following on from @blueTdi Please let's try and keep on topic. I understand that things wander during a conversation and thats healthy but let's keep to the essence of the topic that the OP raised.

The only time I'd be seriously interested to know about Mexican cartels 3d printing anything on this thread is if they were printing 1/18'th model Grenadiers at 35 bucks.

Stu.

If the Grenadier is wildly successful then a first edition model with be worth quite a bit in the future I’m sure. Also, if INEOS crashes and burns with the Grenadier then a first and only edition model will be super rare and worth quite a bit on the collectors market, one day.
Either way it’s a win win…… I hope.
I think I’ve just convinced myself to buy one. Thanks guys. ?

The same goes with the real IG Stu in many ways. If Ineos crashes and burns then the early adopter could be left with a modern dat Delorean. I would sooner not to be honest but try to look on the bright side. ?

May be or not.

But even if the price doubles: This was just a full fuel tank - which is (yet) about 180€ here in Germany.
