    The good news is Gearmate as the shorter version of their drawers that is level with the back seats up on their site. The bad news is they dont seem to ship outside the UK. Bummer.

    The Gearmate/IA solutions do look good, but I have a hard time accepting the additional weight that could be used for equipment, plus the permanent (relative, I admit) loss of non-expedition storage space 🤷

    I've ordered the gearmate one. However, their standard model sits higher than the OEM one they make. If you want it the same size as the OEM version (so it's level when the seats are folded), you need to request at time of ordering.

    Picture of my Gearmate twin drawer installed. Delighted with it. Fitted it on my own and very straightforward, bolted straight in. Perfect fit. Extremely well built. No rattles. Loadspace on top even easier to use than the OEM level. Also helps to reduce the booming from the poor rear acoustics...

    ...for the OEM unit with another $500 to $600 for installation. Being a DIY type I’d prefer to due the install as I can’t see it being overly complicated. Curious if it would be cheaper through Gearmate assuming they can ship overseas? Maybe we get enough folks interested and get a bulk deal?

    That looks really interesting. Please share the details when you get them. I’m more interested in the single drawer, since it will have a bit over 1 meter, almost 4 feet in the corner to corner. I’m not sure that 880 is long enough for everything I need to lock down.

    Thanks @DCPU I didn’t realize that the Gearmate ones were thee drawers. I rarely have people in my back seat but I can’t commit to always leaving it down. I can’t imagine getting any draw system in and out is easy. Side note - I love that Ineos is trying to partner with UK companies like Gearmate.

    Have a link to the Gearmate units? I do agree that keeping the batteries low/centered is brilliant. I just wish the load area from the front seat backs aftward was totally flat. A minor bump in the configuration/setup is all.

    I had these draws fitted to my Mitsubishi L200, I am very lucky this company - Gearmate - is 25 mins from my house, so was an easy purchase (albeit expensive) and install. Would recommend them.
