Rear lockable drawer storage at least 7 inches(175mm) interior height?

„We deliver to all physical addresses located in major cities within South Africa. We do not deliver internationally.“

How did you get it?
WhiteBear,

I got it from a dealer in Netherland

The good news is Gearmate as the shorter version of their drawers that is level with the back seats up on their site. The bad news is they dont seem to ship outside the UK. Bummer.

@mcdoogs -- I enquired a few weeks ago and they will ship to the US --- at the time freight was +/- £675GBP / $870USD.

I received my Gearmate drawer system (directly from the MFG) this week and installed it yesterday... the fit & finish + build quality is exceptional. If you are looking for a drawer system, this is the gold standard IMO. I purchased the model that flattens the load space when the second row seating is down so I can fit a (custom) mattress inside the vehicle.

The drawer height of the model I purchased is just over 4" which may be too shallow for some but for me (I use Zarges cases on a Leitner rack) it's perfect. Step 22 products for storage organization work really well with this drawer.

Anyway, for those of you who are interested in purchasing the draw directly from Gearmate my contact there is:

For those of you looking for a rock solid drawer with OEM fit and finish, I can't recommend this product enough.

Installed the Diabolical drawer leveling kit a couple of weeks ago. No squeaks or rattles and a much appreciated addition to the original drawer.

So many options, and I had a pressing need for a trip, but I didn’t know what I’d need, so I did a ‘prototype’ or really a stop-gap to see what I really need.

Used some 3/4 thick laminated particle board to make an easily removeable and not that expensive. It used hinges to make it so that I could store it more easily. The idea was to have ‘caps’ on the end to stabilize the hinged risers, but the 3Dprinted ones I used couldn’t stand the ‘side load’ and cracked. So I used angle iron and wing nuts to make it pretty easy to flatten. The angle iron stand a bit proud/tall, but not too bad.

All in all, less than $100.

Learned a few things.
The cargo area is ‘shorter’ than I realize, I need to maximize the width- and every inch matters.
I didn’t pay attention to the exact placement of the verticals. They need to be as far out as possible.
I used a 12 inch tall verticals. It’s probably more than I need, but I wanted to try too tall first.
I use it because I keep boots, coats, shopping bags and other items in and I still want to have some cargo room.
