    ...the u-joints should be phased at 90° to each other. Derek0343 can confirm if this is the case for his drive shafts. The angle of the joints at the pinion and the transfer case should also match each other. But that is basically impossible on the front axle while preserving the caster angle.

    I changed mine at 2500 miles. In hindsight it probably wasnt necessary. Mine drained clean and clear with zero visible contaminants… The diffs however definitely needed it with lots of metal shavings and cloudiness in the oil.

    ...Or engage on a slight slope. Basically shift trans into neutral while still rolling say 5-10mph. Then as you roll to a stop shift the T-case into hi or low as needed just before you stop. You won't have to force it at all. This is the same procedure for rovers with the LT230 transfer case.

    This makes perfect sense. When the accordion boot is at the pinon gravity is pulling the grease into the Rzeppa joint, if the accordion boot is at the transfer case then gravity will be pulling the grease out of the joint and into the boot.
