NATO Plug,Socket

Strong bones and plenty of energy!
Nothing wrong with that combo!
Nothing but the best.

No need for NATO plug just crack off a corner of your C-4

Standard British Army slang for tea or coffee - (they are both brown and wet, so does it matter?)

NATO Standard, white two sugars
Julie Andrews, White, no sugar
Whoopi Goldberg, Black, no sugar.

I am planning on using the Nato plug to power my coffee machine when i stop for a break.
Planning to put the machine on a slide out

That is big business here in Morocco. An extra battery and a cheap Chinese inverter is all they have.

Hi good point, i remember those guys in Morroco. My next business. :) So i've connected inverter to the NATO plug, Using electric tea kettle (2200W). 4000W inverter worked perfectly. Amperage between 160-175A (on clamp meter), running engine. After 40 secs grenadier shows "LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE" a few moment later, alternator goes full power (change sound of engine). Measuring on Alternator in "full load" deliveres 140-145Amps. My batteries are new, fully charged.
Is this normal? The message with Low battery not representing low battery. On OFFROAD - ELECTRICAL SCREEN is not shown Amperage during tea making. Does anybody tested loads 200A and more? I cant imagine that.

Ok so technically, if i had the proper transfer switch, like what I use for connecting my 12kw portable generator to my house, in case of a power failure, I could connect the NATO plug to power my house in and emergency?

The NATO socket outputs 12V DC (up to 14.4V DC if the engine is running) and is current limited to around 350 Amps which is the fuse rating. The overhead switch is labelled 500 Amps which is probably a momentary current for rear winching, which is the only endorsed use of the NATO socket.
You would need to send that DC power through an AC inverter because your house needs at least 110V AC at 60 Hz. You would produce a useful AC supply for a small emergency appliance (a coffee machine qualifies as an emergency appliance) but it won't run your house.
As Karoo noted, a 2200W kettle placed a big demand on his vehicle.

Some BEVs have the capability to provide power to your house if the correct charger and inverter equipment is installed. More here (example).
