Are these plastic wire bundlers supposed to be put side the door like this? Mine does it on both sides. I can push them to be hidden, but they naturally seem to want to be exposed?
Yep, same for me, both sides. Are these plastic wire bundlers supposed to be put side the door like this? Mine does it on both sides. I can push them to be hidden, but they naturally seem to want to be exposed?View attachment 7864726
+1Same for me. Interested to see what everyone else says.
Yes I thought long shorts and no undies would be OK but it appears not.Not recommended to poke out the leg of your shorts though.
The cable length is needed to enable the doors to be fully opened and there's a minimum turn radius to prevent undue wear... I guess it is what it is!Yep that's the design feature from what I can tell
I guess that depends on the company you keepNot recommended to poke out the leg of your shorts though.
Another one of those rapid production design oops's. I seriously doubt they have custom UV/chemical stable wiring loom so It'll be a fix in 10 years if you park outside. Otherwise, I saw it and didn't even care enough to consider if I should care.
I think you can push them in and have them not exposed after you close the door. That is an interesting comment about the long activity of the plastic. Yes, I severely doubt that they used a very stabilized version. while my IG is parked inside most of the time, the UV is pretty bad here in Colorado.Me too. Been thinking that I should mount some plastic flange on the bottom of the door to guide the wire loom into it's proper place.
