good idea - but freight cost will be the biggest issue. Good luck moving to Brisbane - amazing place!
A standard pallet at 4x4 is roughly $1,000 to ship from Brisbane to Los Angeles.

Put 4-6 roo bars on there and it makes the shipping price more palatable.

Get really frisky and send a sea container for $7K and now we’re in business…

Having hit more Kangaroos than I care to remember and a few cattle I will be waiting for a full bumper replacement bar and the ability to fit a decent winch, the OEM IMHO would fold itself into the bonnet and radiator rendering you immobile.

I checked with Leitner Designs, based in Corona, CA, if they plan to make any accessories for the Grenadier and they replied back saying they plan to make a roof rack and Roo Guard. They said they will be available early 2024 but did not have specific dates or prices. The reply said they will put me on their email list for notification about availability. Might be a good idea to contact them so they know there is interest in this product and also to be put on their mail list. Contact info below.

I added my name - hopefully it pushes them forward!

For anyone not ordering a Roo bar, here is my 2c. A few days ago a full sized branch and husk off an Alexander palm tree and hit my roo bar bang on. If there was no bar I think I would have lost the entire light case on the right side with the impact!

And that branch was probably thrown by a kangaroo!

It's high time you Australians quit giving roos beer at these bars, but I understand they are the only ones who will drink fosters.

Was a news story in the last month or so where a guy's dog was being held in water by a "jacked" roo. Might be time to stop giving them Fosters ;p

I am ordering the bullbar from NZ. It's around $5000 landed at Charlotte, NC airport. Anyone interested to tag along, please let me know.

No. It ends up being almost $5000 USD. The bar itself is $2000+ NZD which is $1200+ USD. Due to the size of this thing, I cannot find a courier that would do it. Next best option is Air Freight, which the cheapest quote I got is ~$3500 USD. Ocean freight is definitely cheaper, but this item is way too small for even a LCL ocean freight shipment. Once it reaches the US, I would have to clear customs and there could always to extra money with freight and unexpected expenses. So I figured to budget $5000 USD just in case.

The OEM bar is awesome. The fact that you have to order it from overseas and pay that much is ridiculous.

I think mine was $2800 all in to my door. I've already forgotten the price but the deets are in my build thread. Since I got mine he's sold many others to overseas customers.

Someone in the US will come out with a bolt on option I would assume. I am waiting to see what some of the IS companies come out with. GrenX, that bumper looks fantastic. Any plans though for a bolt on bar to the stock bumper?

I still do not understand why the U.S. doesn't get the bull bar option to buy? We sell ARB, custom, generic chinese bars, and we can't get the factory for what reason? Seems so odd to me.
