Pretty dissapointed in this - I don't really want a green jacket, would have been happy with black.
it's not really green. it's so dark olive that I had to check the label to confirm that it's not black. maybe in bright light it's easier to see that it's olive or in direct comparison next to black.

That's the problem with the PU coated leather they've used on cars the past few decades.
It's just not the same as the old cow skin they used to use!
It could be even worse with the perforated leather on my 964 turbo... By the way, Belstaff jackets are gorgeous...

Today we wanted to sew the Grenadier badge onto the left breast pocket of the Trialmaster jacket. We noticed that the pocket was sewn on crookedly. The right breast pocket, on the other hand, is sewn on parallel to the zip.
Both the photos of Belstaff jackets on the Internet and the photos you have posted here in the thread show them to be exactly askew. There's a system to this, isn't there? What is the reason for this? I'm looking for a serious explanation.
On photos of jackets that are decades old, the pockets are sewn on straight.
I'll ask you first before contacting Belstaff. Thank you.

It is a characteristic that refers to the old trialmaster jackets that, like the Balbur, had the left pocket completely oblique, to facilitate access with the right hand to the road maps that were used when traveling by motorcycle, in the new ones models have kept the pocket slightly oblique paying homage to the old ones. Greetings Paco

I just received my Trailmaster jacket by courier. Comes in a snazzy branded suit bag. The material and finish are of very high quality (wherever they came from). I ordered it two weeks ago after receiving the link
I was promised a jacket and I got a jacket. It also came with a very nice sew on badge for Grenadier. Not being a great one for fashion I am not sure if I will wear it much but it does look nice!

@Paco Garcia Gracias por la explicación. Now I've learnt something new. I'm not a motorcyclist, even though I have a driving licence. I have a lot of Barbour jackets, but no motorbike jacket.

Typical of the thoughtful things the world does for we left handers 😂

Have you noticed the metal badge inside the jacket (towards the lower part of the ZIP). Depicting the jacket name.

It is TrialMaster, not Trail, ;) although like I said already several times, I would have preferred the word "trail", and no "trial" jacket and spend the money on something else 🤫

Hello Jean,
I agree about the name and apologise, blame muscle memory!
Here in South Australia where we regularly go bush in the high 30's or low 40's for work I am not sure what I am going to do with it.
A free beer fridge for Aussies instead of a jacket would have been nice but its the thought that counts!

My last enquiry said "up to 6 weeks"; maybe the factory is stressed?
I can't wait to get my Irish coat 😁

Latest response is:
"We sincerely apologize for the delay in getting your Belfast jacket. Typically, it can take up to 4 months from the day you picked up your vehicle. I've informed the relevant team about your request, and we are exploring options to expedite the process"

I assume that new software has to be installed first to open the zipper. ;)

I suspect their production planning has been " screwed up". IA will have advised that over the last 12months there would be a constant slow stream of vehicles. So they geared up for that, and then nothing. Now a big batch of deliveries as IA address the backlog, leaving Belstaff "up shit creek" without a seamstress
