I'm buying the 5 seater utility. Seen it today. Picking up next week. Needs new door seals and steps. I'm keeping 110 defender. Didn't have any problems with the driving position. Just wondering is anyone's adjusted the back seats.

Hi @Woodstove, what part of S Cumbria are you from, just a curious as a Walneyite of 40 years before moving over the border.Graham - on moving the rear seats backwards on N1 grenadiers, Iain Thomson did a series of about half a dozen little videos which could not be more helpful:

Anyone who has or is interested in getting the 5 seat commercial but is worried about the rear seat position, I can confirm its a straight forward job to put it back to standard fit. Took me under 2...www.facebook.com
Once you start you'll want to finish the job so be aware that you will need large Torx bits. Most standard Torx sets only go up to 4 mm (i.e. T40).
Iain explains that you will need ordinary T40 and T45 plus also a security T50 bit. The latter has a central pin. I found that Torx bit difficult to source. I got mine from bigspannerman on eBay. Finally, be aware that the latest Torx bits have 5 splines but you want original Torx with 6 splines.
So I've got mine ready but am only at the 'signed contract' stage so don't have a vehicle yet.
Oh dear, having just joined the Forum Stu is going to throw me out for telling porkies: I’ve put my location as South Cumbria UK because it’s more meaningful even though I’m a mile south of the Cumbria border.Walneyite
