Probably they are attached to the frame before the coating. So it would be an extra step…I'm normally not picky about such details. But the red recovery points are something I'd really want to have. They give the grenadier a nice detail of its purpose and character.
And I do not at all understand why they canceled that? There is no extra paint necessary, you have just to throw a few hundreds of them in a red paint tub and that's it.
Maybe we should file a petition with Ineos.
Any ideas how to do that?
I’m starting to prefer them in black.I'm normally not picky about such details. But the red recovery points are something I'd really want to have. They give the grenadier a nice detail of its purpose and character.

Couldn't you just paint them whatever colour you wanted when you received the vehicle?I'm normally not picky about such details. But the red recovery points are something I'd really want to have. They give the grenadier a nice detail of its purpose and character.

It was mentioned somewhere in the forum, and the newest pictures confirm it.Who says they cancelled it?
That's right. And when I'm bored I'll perhaps do so. But I'm never bored.Couldn't you just paint them whatever colour you wanted when you received the vehicle?
On this thread, I'm embarrassed to say that I set that hare running.Who says they cancelled it?
A beer in one hand and a paint brush in the other. That's right. And if I'm bored I'll perhaps do this. But I'm never bored.
It’s a hard job but someone has to do it!A beer in one hand and a paint brush in the other.
that is getting dangerously close to multi-tasking...A beer in one hand and a paint brush in the other.
I tried opening the roof windows with roof rack on my test drive and they wouldn’t open enough to lock in place.Your config also shows the safari windows open with the rack. I hope that is the case. I don’t care if you can’t remove them but sure would be nice to open them.
There is a 3/4 roof rack on the way to allow these to be openedThey do open quite wide:
