Your thoughts on another Great Grenadier Charity Event in 2025?

After the success of the 2024 The Great Grenadier Charity Event (Yes I did over plug it) it’s now time to see if owners, enthusiasts & supporters would be interested in an Event in the UK in 2025.

There are 2 things I need your help on this.

1/ Where in UK you would like to see the event, a place or area in the UK?

Remember the very first event was held on the Elveden Estate on the Norfolk/Suffolk boarder, where else would be great.

2/ The date/Month you would like to see the event & for how many days IE 1 or 2 days or longer.

The first event was held on the 5th May, would you like it later in the year? But remember other events which it might clash with (Goodwood festival of speed, or other 4X4 events)

Profits would go towards Emergency voluntary organisations such as the Mountain Rescue, Cave Rescue, Lowland Rescue or 4X4 Response.

Again all the great things which was at the 2024 I will try to arrange, plus all the help I can get from all of you who participate in this great community.

Please comment on this post, even if you are from Europe or further afield & might be tempted to attend.

I would be happy to support such a thing.

Location - not overly bothered, some overnight camping might be nice, (although suggesting to my wife she sleeps in a tent will guarantee she will not come; in her world, anything without an en-suite is roughing it).

Timing - after the last "summer", I'd suggest that early May was as much a lottery as any other! (With the advantage that it would not clash with the bigger car events).

How about one of the smaller pay and play sites, like Sibbertoft, https://avalancheadventure.co.uk/ or Stainby, https://www.lroshow.com/offroad?

I'm treasurer of my local 4x4 Response, Leicestershire & Rutland 4x4 Response, https://lr4x4response.org.uk/, so can pull together some local knowledge. Through my ultimate employer, Benefact Group, I may even be able to apply for matched funding of the sum raised, (up to £5,000).
