Wired and mounted this last week. Ran a 10G wire to the main battery. Hidden when not in use. Thought some of you would like some inspiration for what can fit in this space.

Very nice install, I like it! I may just copy cat you. That RedArc unit is the perfect size.

Nice. Can you still get to your Jack now 🤔

This was my first thought
In 1998 our newly built home was surrounded by bushfire. I had a phone which I clipped into my belt , at the back as I didn't want it exposed to heat and water.
During the fight I took a large swig of lemon cordial I'd previously made up as a precaution against dehydration and energy loss. Such a large swig it spilled down my face and down my back onto the phone.
8 hours after the fire went through, after midnight a policeman turned up to see if we were still alive.
Relatives had tried to ring, but sticky cordial had evidently killed the circuitry. That phone got binned, and I learnt a good lesson.

I think this is for water ingress issues if you look at the whole context of the page. Also, for ventilation it needs an inch of airspace.
