Which Grey is it?

The grey color in the configurator is currently named "Donny Grey". The old one was called "Gun Metal Grey".

Now I ask myself, whether both are the exactly same color, and they just renamed it for reasons of political correctness: The evil word "Gun" might have bee the culprit, I don't know.

Does anybody know?

Most of the colours were renamed, 'gun metal' is usually a specific shade of grey, i think this was just the stand in name

is there any colour codes available?
It is so hard to tell what the actual colours are.
And they changed in the last release of the configurator. (well some colours certainly look different)

I believe that colour swatches will be made available for the next UK tour.

I'm unsure about the rest of the world, although you would like to think they would all fall in line.

My dealership told me on a telephone call yesterday, that they expect the first cars by the end of August.

He (the CEO) told me, that they have asked Ineos to get bonnets each of which painted in one color. The color samples are quite important as many women (yes!) are an important part of the buying process, and they almost unexceptionally ask for real color samples (as opposed to the men which are often happy with the printouts).  "Once they are happy with the color, the rest is almost a breeze" (for the women and thus as well for their husbands ...), he said.

He is however not overly optimistic to get them.

Where are you based emax?

Bonnets in each colour would look great although very dependant on showroom size!

Colour is always a tough choice for people, Donny Grey is my go to right now with a red ladder frame!

Germany, in the Rhine-Main area. About 50Km south-south-east of Frankfurt.

Showroom size problem can be mitigated by building a compartment with drawers (that was what the CEO had in mind). Or a rack with foldable "pages" like they have for the wallpaper patterns in hardware stores - alas a bit larger.

Donny Grey is gorgeous!
