What's Magnetic & What's Not?

Whilst investigating the magnetic properties of the hinges on this thread:

I ran the magnet over all the other external panels:

The rear quarter section with the vent panel is not magnetic and actually feels like plastic; as does the rear roof trim panel above the rear door:

Front bulkhead/windscreen surround:

In this photo there is nothing magnetic except the fasteners:

Rear doors are not magnetic except for what look like inserted dowels (too neat to be spot welds):

Half height cargo barrier (rear external ladder is not):

Both front & rear skid plates:

Nato socket is aluminium but the retaining strap is magnetic:

Bonnet stay is magnetic:

A timely reminder to always carry a magnet in your toolbox.
(You just never know when you might need to do a full body frisk on your 4wd)
