I understand that the diagnostic tool will go along with service/repair manual. You can’t have one without the other. Hopefully not too long a wait before we get the manual.

Given that BMW scan tools cannot access/scan the modules in the Grenadier, I would imagine it wouldn't work...Did you happen to try Bimmercode APP or something like that? Several other forums show it doing BMW's service resets.
Thanks to Bernhard at Leitner Designs I can update this (if better knowledge isn’t already out there).I did - I want to clear up some confusion though. It looks like ROW vehicles (and perhaps Australia specifically) CANNOT clear codes with a (or most) consumer OBD2 readers. NAS spec vehicles CAN.
There's a lot of confusion about this and it seems like it may deserve a sticky or *something* @anand
Robert Pepper, Automotive Journalist, has posted on his Patreon that he is making inquiries w/the local folks at Ineos AUS to determine whats what. I'd encourage our AUS members to join up as he's making some great content right now - https://www.patreon.com/L2SFBC
Ineos should have a tester system that you can connect through the internet/computer to their headquarters, for those people on the road in countries without dealerships.
Hi everyone,Thanks to Bernhard at Leitner Designs I can update this (if better knowledge isn’t already out there).
The OBDLink MX+ will read and clear some codes also on Australia delivered vehicles.
In our case we had Check Engine; Power Steering and Air Bag faults (maybe a couple of others) after the vehicle battery was depleted during shipping. The device/app was able to clear all except the airbag warning. This required a fly by to Sierra Ineos, where Matt and the team were happy to assist.
Not an expedition-ready solution (needs a phone/internet) but better than the nothing that was previously available for Oz.
The OBDLink app in our case… however airbag fault was the one thing it wouldn’t clear (10 mins at a dealer).Hi everyone,
I came across a post mentioning that the OBDLink MX+ was successfully used to read and clear some error codes on the Ineos Grenadier (including Check Engine, Power Steering, and Airbag faults). However, it was not clear which app was used for this.
Was it OBDLink App, DashCmd, Car Scanner, or something else?
Has anyone been able to completely clear all errors, including the Airbag fault?
Thanks in advance for any insights!
