I got done 3 months ago for 69 in a 60 zone.
I remembered seeing the camera on the side of the road and checked my speed as I was sure it was a 70 kmh zone.
I went back after I got the fine and picture in the mail.
Sure enough it was a 70 kmh zone.
I had the fine reversed.
They said the camera had been set up incorrectly.
How many people just paid it I wonder.

I had my vehicle shipped on a flatbed trailer from the dealer... it passed through various States with automated toll cameras. I only am conscious of this because a few weeks later, I started to get toll violations in the mail, one of which was $82.00. I cannot tell you how many hours of my life were lost to letters and phone calls to prove the obvious: the truck and trailer paid the tolls; my license plate, sitting stationary, should not have to. All were eventually cancelled. In hindsight, I might well have just paid them.

Speeding tickets in the USA are different, as they directly affect insurance rates. I can appreciate your motivation to show that you were falsely accused, regardless!

We mainly use etags that are stuck on the windscreen to pay tolls
Several years ago a company I worked for provided a tag to go on my personal car, which I used for work.
A year later they contacted me to ask me to return the tag and pay a fairly large bill that had been clocked up on my tag.
I told them I had given it to the manager on the day I finished, so not my bill to pay.
Turns out he threw it in the glove box of his car and had been driving around for a year getting tolls on both his etag and mine.

I added locks to my aluboxes. Found a company in germany that maes the locks.
Excellent boxes if you haven;'t seen them before. a bit spendy but really, really good.
I got all the keys keyed alike for my 3 alubx boxes.

If I could get an official forum title of "The Grinch" I would accept it.
And all the Who’s down in Whoville,
They came in their Jeeps,
With their ducks and their bangles,
Their waves and their beeps.

But the Grinch on his mountain,
He could get no sleep,
And he tossed and he grumbled,
“Those Who’s are all sheep!”

Lunch - thin crust pizzas + beer at brew pub about 10 minutes from home. And I installed a dashcam that I can either run off the overhead switch or from the power to rear cig lighter socket ( ignition off, eg when parked remotely). Cam was very well priced on special.
Has a rear cam which I haven't installed atm.

How did you run the wire off your dashcam?

I've tapped into the footwell wire and installed a dual cig socket+ USB outlet on the passenger side tunnel. It runs the UHF radio, rear dual camera ( for towing) and now the dashcam ( USB wire).
