Because I don’t have my IG yet, I’ve had to be content with helping my neighbour sail his catamaran from the Gold Coast to Yeppoon in central Qld.
We will be gone for about 8-9 days and the weather promises to be sensational.
I’ll have reception from time to time along the way, so look forward to seeing who else has received their IG and taken it for a drive.

Weather is fantastic at the moment but a bit chilly in the mornings.
down to 9.2 degrees today but will get up to 23 by lunch.
We are only 11 days from winter though so not too bad.
I am driving down to Brisbane on Monday morning at about 7am, back on Friday, adding another 600kms to the car.

Today I noticed the bonnet of the car is made from plastic and it has an old fashion prop. I guess it keeps the weight down.

Surely Aluminium not plastic

Pretty sure plastic or some sort of composite. The front bonnet, front wings, rear door with the ladders and plastic vent covers on the back are all plastic. Makes sense, lightweight and won’t get dented.
