Water pond under jack

I thought the issue Jean was having didn’t come from the top.

@Krabby is it possible to have some sort of matrix or spreadsheet where you could look for the problem (water around the jack) the directed you to the DIY (if available). Searching threads is hard since so many zig zag and provide solutions for something else. Might need a little coding outside the platform like a link to a read only sheet.
Not a bad idea - let me connect with @Stu_Barnes to discuss. Maybe @Rok_Dr can add it to his amazing manual.

A good idea @Roach and agreed @Krabby worth investigating. Having a simple appendix table in the manual with columns for Problem, Cause and a Solution Link is reasonably easy, but finding the time to populate and verify solutions is a real problem for me ATM. Hopefully @Stu_Barnes will be able to easily wave some coding magic, otherwise perhaps put the forum members to work and crowdsource using a tightly moderated thread?

Cheers
Steve

In addition to searching the forum I routinely check for new TSBs on the Ineos page of the NHTSA website. If Ineos have released a TSB for a known problem (that affects the NA market) it will be on the NHTSA website.

This TSB for the roof bar covers is in the vicinity of the jack compartment. It's not necessarily the same fault but it's worth a look if for no other reason than to eliminate it from the list of potential causes of water ingress.
