Whenever I drive above 50mph, I will get a speed assist function limited warning message with a yellow front camera obstruction icon, does anyone know a way to disable this warning? I already turned off ADAS speed limit assist function in settings.

Mine started with that warning and then slowly melted down. Dealer told me it's normal behavior when the camera doesn't see a speed limit sign for an extended amount of time. I called BS to him as I was on a country road with plenty of signs for over an hour of driving and the warning stayed on the whole drive.

I get the issue in parking lots and on longer roads, regardless of speed, that have spotty/not visible signage. Also--in places like the beltway where you're traveling in or next to an express lane, where the signage is "doubled" showing the differences in limits.

You’re driving in an area where the speed limit is not being communicated to the automobile.

I suddenly started having the same issue with a warning symbol on the screen behind the wheel and the verbiage on the center screen. It is hit or miss on when it happens (ie private and public roads) and when it finally goes off.

I hope we can turn this off with the ADAS software fix. This comes on every time in my neighborhood.

Does anyone know if this is part of the update?

I’m getting the same message but it comes on when I first start the vehicle, then goes away randomly.

This goes on when the camera cannot see speed limit signs (it also might use gps)....my neighborhood is a private neighborhood so it goes on every time I pull into it. Along with the message. Once I pull out it turns off. Same in large parking lots.

It is annoying and I hope the ADAS software fix changes this.

That makes sense. Thanks!

My truck has it too
Is it in the same place every time or random? I know I will get the warning symbol in three different places around my town and it's 100% reproducible. 2 places that don't have street signs and a new overpass.

So far it seemed random but now that I have a better idea how the system works it may not be. I’ll see if it pops on In certain places consistently

Similar message here on my 2 week old Grenadier. I took it to the dealer (thankfully Red Noland Ineos is 20 min away max) and spoke with service about some of the "issues" I have had.

I put "Issues" in quotes because the provided manual is not the best....Being kind on that one!

The image you are seeing...again according to my dealer and posted previously...is that the camera system cannot obtain a speed sign or road markings. This has happened a ton to us and after 700 miles of driving now I believe the dealer is correct on the assessment.

Other than that we have had ZERO issues thus far with our Grenadier.

It is not a failure message. Its a warning message that the camera cannot detect road markings, as said above. Its complete overkill for such a minor notification. But then again, the ticking for overspeed is overly loud too compared to other cars that have it.

I have had the same experience. It truly is the only wanting light i have had in the six months owning the vehicle. I will admit, when i first saw it it appeared to be the old school looking engine light that meant severe issues until i realized the “engine” looking warning was a camera. Once i drilled down and asked around i realized i drive on many private roads and long driveways that trigger it. Frankly, i get the warning but for an off road vehicle it seems odd.
