The Grenadier Pub in Belgravia (London) - the bar where the legend was born and one now owned by SJR himself.

I just went this past weekend. It’s now a place on my must do list anytime I visit London moving forward. We had Sunday roast, which was delicious. I wasn’t really expecting too much from food in a pub, but it was really really good. Highly recommend. We also had a couple of cold beers which were equally as delicious. I didn’t try the house Grenadier Ale, but it kind of felt like a right of passage. Didn’t do the money on the ceiling because the bar was getting pretty busy. So add that to the list as well for next time. Definitely could tell some like minded fan club people were there, suited up in their Belfast jackets, to see what it was all about and the birth place of a great idea. I’d highly recommend it for anyone that visits London. Even if you’re not a Grenadier SUV fan. It’s a great pub hidden down a little back alley. So put it on your bucket list

Awesome! I can’t wait til I get to go there next month. Our transatlantic cruise ends in Southampton and we have a night in London before the flight back home so clearly the 1 day tour of England is Stonehenge, Windsor castle, Big Ben, and the Grenadier Pub!

Great picture!! It was such a cool little pub. The garden is a great spot to get a seat if weather is nice!

We were there last May and I did the tour where you get to climb the tower and stand 10' away as it chimes (I was there at 11am, so 11 LOUD chimes). It was fascinating!
