Originally on my 4Runner, and luckily no one grabbed it in the 3 years between turning them in and getting the Grenadier... A bit of a joke about vehicles that are built to look tough but are never used, the scratches and permanently adhered dirt/mud on both the 4Runner and Grenadier show that I don't follow that mentality :)

The commemorative plates I have now cannot be personalized but if I could, it’d be FRAGOUT 😜

Getting customized plates started when I got my LR Disco1. Never felt I wanted them prior to that. But my D1 was the first car that was really “me” — and I couldn’t allow some random combo of letters and numbers be attached to a me-car!

It’s like the movie Jerry Maguire where he says that infamous line “You……..Complete me”. For me, the personalized plate = It Completes It.

My LR3 is ANNML
My Grenadier is ANNML2

ANNML is — Ann (First name), M (middle initial), L (last initial)

(Just noticed registration sticker is crooked and that really bugs me lol)
You have good taste in plates lol

Moved to Washington, so I have to get a new plate. WaMVD wouldn't allow the same number plate. What a sad day. Maybe there is someone in a GT3RS.

That looks great. The jolly roger is a timeless symbol and the plate is a pretty generic - non NFL folks won't even get the connection with the Bucs.

I don't like the vanity plates that somehow restate what's already stated on the vehicle.
Ham plates are great, and in California ham vanity plates are free (or very very inexpensive). However, in the U.S. a call sign prominently displayed on a vehicle reveals the owner's home address (unless obfuscated using P.O.box).
There are some phenomenal vanity plates that tell what people do - but only to those who know. A great example of that was my colleague's plate - "532NM"- IYKYK.
My wife has been sporting a plate "MQ9" on her vehicles for the last ~15 years or so. I am tempted to use "N43RF" - but I haven't been on it since 2002.
