For those who care, I put on the BFG 295/70R17 Mt Ta Km3, No rubbing, quiet, steers perfect and the rear door opens! Today I’ll be putting on my Front Runner full roof rack. The slats run horizontally (as opposed to the Ineos rack) allowing me to space them out over the sky hatchs and still mount the light bar. Will Share picks when installed.

Hi Asjtex, Those BFG's look great! Can we get a full side view photo to see your whole vehicle and perhaps a close up of one of the rims/tires in the wheel well to see how they look. DaBull

That tyre size suits well. What’s that about a 34”? 31”s just don’t look the part on a real 4wd I think. And the landcruisers just drove better on slightly bigger tyres I always thought.
I’ve been banned by she who must be obeyed from a 2” lift and 33” tyres like I had on the 200 series (and everything before that) as she says it’s too bloody high to get into as it is (she hates when I turn a 4wd into a truck 😂)
And to be honest now I’m doing less rockcrawling and more outback touring anyway and has been the case for quite a few years, I could just get away with just 33”s to give me a bit more clearance anyway.

Nice to see someone else with the same rims, looks good!

Similar situation. I find the Grenadier is really begging for taller tires, but I do not want wide tires. My plan is for 255/80 tires once I wear the 'stones down a bit. SWMBO manages now, so 33's and Buzz sliders should keep the household happy.

Did you get the rack installed? Would love to see pics and hear about how the safari windows work with it installed.
